Event Descriptions:

Device Moderation Workshop on Monday, December 5 at 1:30 pm in Grinnell Hall, Lower Level Dance Studio. Video games and social media dominate our lives and interactions with people around us. Is this too much of a good thing? Explore the good, bad, and ugly of gaming and devices and get tips on how to make the most of your virtual time.

Healthy Relationships Workshop on Tuesday, December 6th at 3:00pm in Grinnell Hall, Event Space A. Student Health Services hosts a discussion about what relationships mean to us, how to make sure they’re healthy, and what to do if things get bad. Join Confidential Advisor, Rose Robinson-Berkman to open up the conversation and learn what resources are available.

Healthy Snacks Table on Tuesday, December 6 from 11:00am to 1:00pm inside Morris Library. Join the Wellness Coordinators of Student Health Services for a grab-n-go snack, along with learning about resources and strategies to help prepare you for finals week.

Positive Affirmation Bracelet Activity on Wednesday, December 7 from 11:00am to 1:00pm inside Morris Library. Stop by this table to make yourself or a friend a powerful affirmation bracelet.

Restorative Yoga on Wednesday, December 7 at 11:00am in the Dawg Lounge at the Student Health Center. Join our certified teacher for a free and relaxing yoga practice in the dawg lounge. During this session we will move through a series of gentle yoga poses, breathing practices and each session will end with a guided meditation. This class is designed to release stress and tension in a supportive environment. No yoga experience? No problem! This class is for everybody.

Snowflake Craft on Thursday, December 8 from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Dawg Lounge at the Student Health Center. We are like snowflakes, each unique and beautiful in our own way. Craft your own unique snowflake in the Dawg Lounge.

Finals Study Strategies Workshop on Monday, December 12 at 4:00pm in the Student Health Center Auditorium. As you enter Finals Week, Wellness and Health Promotion Services has some helpful tips on how to manage your time, effectively prepare for your exams, and manage your stress!

Winter Lantern Craft on Tuesday, December 13 from 10:00am to 4:00pm in the Dawg Lounge at the Student Health Center. Craft a winter lantern to create warmth and light for the dark winter days.

Stress Ball Activity on Tuesday, December 13 from 11:00am to 1:00pm inside Morris Library. Stressed during finals week? Stop by this table to make your own stress balls.

Safe Decision Tabling on Wednesday, December 14 from 11:00am to 1:00pm inside Morris Library. Before you head home, learn about the best ways to stay safe, healthy, and reduce unwanted consequences.
