Visitor Policy | Student Health Services | SIU

We know family members and friends play a key role in supporting those who are sick. However, as we seek to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have made temporary changes to our Visitor Policy to protect the health of our patients and employees. No visitors will be permitted to accompany patients into the building, except in some limited situations approved at the time the appointment is scheduled. All people entering the Student Health Center must wear a face mask and have their temperature screened at the door. Only ADA service animals are permitted. All other animals, including previously approved therapy dogs/support animals, are not allowed at this time.
